Just one year ago, the first ‘Roda Reports’ was launched to bring you an ongoing flavour of life in the village, as well as in Corfu and Greece generally. Our six editions so far have built up into a compendium of tourist information, opinion and advice which is probably unrivalled anywhere on the island and the magazine will continue to provide a broad spectrum of information for visitors to Roda.
In recent weeks, there has been some speculation about the number of package holidays available in Roda for 2010 and it is inevitable for loyal visitors to feel concerned that major tour operators are buying less beds in the village than they used to. It is a sad fact that popular resorts, with a high percentage of repeat visitors, are victims of their own success in that tour operators see secondary revenues fall and redirect their customers elsewhere as a result.
